I'm a MidWest Lady from North Central Iowa who has always had a love
for dogs and a passion for the Pomeranian. After I divorced in 1989, I started
my life over in Denver CO, when I decided that my new life deserved a pom.
 I contacted the AKC who led me to the front door of "O My Poms",
Opal Dumler.  After our third visit we took home a wonderful pet pom.

       Several years had passed when the Lord led me to Opal once again. We had both
found ourselves on new paths in life, with the recent loss of loved ones, so to-
gether we began a journey of our own. Opal became my pom mentor and
taught me to love and to learn with dedication and patience. I was bitten by
the show-bug by going to dog shows and being able to assist Opal. When I wasn't
 working at the office or spending time with my children, I was doing
all that I could to learn, what I needed and wanted to know, about our breed 
and to improve my handling. I strive to continue learning everyday. I spend
hours playing with dogs, working with them, watching videos & reading books
about Poms. I've been blessed to have some wonderful handlers and
breeders take their time to help me learn grooming, ring etiquette & professionalism.
 
       As most of us know, Life happens... and sometimes that's a good thing. I'm
now able to be more active with handling and am blessed to have the
opportunity to work with so many wonderful people.
