Break-A-Lead
Dog Handling
I want to recognize these amazing people who have encouraged me to pursue my dream of raising and showing Pomeranians.
First the amazing and wonderful Opal Dumler of O’ My Poms, Castle Rock, CO. I first met Opal in 1990 when I was looking for a pet pom. Our friendship has flourished and grown for 17 wonderful years and has truly been one of the most powerful blessings in my life. Opal has given UNCONDITIONAL support, encouragement and love and has always believed in me even when I’ve doubted myself. You can read more about her in her kennel visit, in the Dec, 1999 issue of The Pom Reader.
Next, my angel on earth, Valerie Allridge, of Alaska Poms,
The wonderful Mary Bonnell, of Linetree Poms,
Brenda Heimbach of Victorian Poms, Black Forest, CO and her beautiful BIS CH JJ’s Victorian Angel (Spirit) have been wonderful friends and inspiration to me. I can only hope that I can become a team, with the poms I show, like she and the little man have been.
God has certainly blessed me with some very strong Christian friends; Valerie, Mary, Opal, Carol Wittrock, Patricia Miller, Cristy and Jessica Christiansen. These ladies always encourage me and support me through actions and words. My friend, Linda Haggstrom who is constantly helping me learn and understand genetics and breeding for the future of my kennel.
To all the above ladies, I thank you, for the blessings of your friendship, for your support and encouragement, for all you give, all the time. THANK YOU.
Also, Thank you to Betsy Owens and Noble Inglett! Two of the most wonderful Pom Handlers I have ever met. Betsy jumped right in and helped me when it was so obvious I knew absolutely nothing about grooming. She has continued to be encouraging whenever I ask her something. Noble has helped me several times at several shows and has always been gracious about teaching me grooming techniques.
I really appreciate the sportsmanship that the professional handlers have shown and given and hope to someday be in their league. THANK YOU,
A very special THANK YOU to my beautiful daughter, Amber, for suggesting a website, for doing all the work and putting it together. Thank You Punkin', I love you.
Mendy
